 Our team listened closely to the homeowners’ feedback on the design and construction to create a kitchen and utility room that are open, clean, and warm—while providing significantly more usable countertops and storage in the same footprint.

 Since we shifted the placement of the range top, every burner is now easy to access, and cooking multiple dishes is more convenient. By enlarging windows onto the backyard and eliminating cabinets, the kitchen now feels much larger. It flows naturally into the rest of the house, echoing the light colors and clean, simple lines of other rooms.

 We reconfigured the utility room to improve its functionality with usable storage and countertop space that more than made up for what we removed in the kitchen. Custom tiling brightens the space, which the homeowners use daily.
