Inside, we combined passive solar design, advanced framing techniques using spray foam insulation, a zoned air source heat pump with Nest thermostats, tankless water heater, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and energy-efficient windows and doors with locally made, formaldehyde-free cabinetry and low-VOC finishes.
